Definition
The urogenital system in veterinary anatomy comprises the urinary and female and male genital organs. It includes structures involved in the production and excretion of urine (kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra) as well as those related to reproduction (gonads, ducts, and external genitalia), often studied together due to their anatomical and developmental proximity.
