Definition
The pleural cupula is the portion of the parietal pleura which rises into the neck, over the summit of the lung.
The term cupula of the pleura (pleural cupula) should not be confused with the cupula of the diaphragm (diaphragmatic cupola on right or left hemidiaphragm)
