Definition
The tuberosity of fifth metatarsal bone is a noticeable bony protrusion located on the outer edge of the base of the fifth metatarsal bone. It extends laterally and backward and serves as the attachment site for the peroneus brevis muscle tendon from the lateral leg compartment.
