The zonular spaces are narrow intervals between bundles of zonular fibres in the region between the ciliary body and lens.

Features

  • The zonular spaces are filled with aqueous humor and permit movement of aqueous humour from the posterior chamber toward the pupil.

  • Traversed by zonular fibres extending to the lens capsule
