Definition
The zonular spaces are narrow intervals between bundles of zonular fibres in the region between the ciliary body and lens.
Features
The zonular spaces are filled with aqueous humor and permit movement of aqueous humour from the posterior chamber toward the pupil.
Traversed by zonular fibres extending to the lens capsule
