胸廓骨（胸腔）包括胸骨、肋和胸副骨

胸骨是位于胸部中央的扁骨，由三部分组成：胸骨柄、胸骨体和剑突。
肋是十二对弧形骨，构成胸廓的外侧部分，每根肋骨在后方与胸椎相关节，大多数肋骨在前方通过肋软骨与胸骨相连。
胸副骨包括胸骨上骨和额外肋。

部分学者将胸椎纳入胸廓骨的范畴。胸椎共十二块（T1–T12），构成胸廓的后界，并为肋提供附着点。
