犁骨沟是位于犁骨外侧面（左右两侧）所有骨性沟槽中最为显著的一条。该沟斜向前下方延伸，作为鼻腭神经及血管的通道。这些神经和血管穿行于切牙管（位于硬腭前部中央），继而进入口腔顶壁。
