纤维膜（capsula fibrosa；areolar coat）位于浆膜层之下，覆盖器官的整个表面。除浆膜层缺如之处外，该层难以清晰显示。在肝门处，纤维膜与Glisson纤维囊相延续，在器官表面则与分隔肝小叶的疏松结缔组织相延续。
