定义
肋骨头关节是肋骨头与相应椎骨椎体及其前一椎骨椎体之间形成的关节。
容纳肋骨头的杯状关节间隙，由与该肋同序的椎骨的前肋凹和前一椎骨的后肋凹共同构成。
变异：
在犬和猫中，第十一至第十三肋的肋骨头关节仅与相应椎骨的前肋凹形成关节。
