尾

定义
尾是脊柱向后的延伸部分，位于骨盆之后，由尾椎及数量和形态因物种而异的特定肌肉组成。
从骨骼角度而言，尾部包含尾椎，其体积较其他椎骨更小，活动性更强，可实现大范围的运动。各尾椎之间由椎间盘相连，并由韧带和肌肉提供支撑，以保证其灵活性。
从肌肉角度而言，尾部由尾部肌肉驱动运动，这些肌肉是背部肌肉和骨盆区肌肉的延续，能够实现侧向运动、屈曲和伸展运动，从而有助于维持平衡及行为表达。
