定义
食管腹部是指食管从膈延伸至胃的节段。与食管的胸部和颈部相比，该部分相对较短。
在犬中，食管腹部以其超声影像学特征及其与胃贲门的解剖关系为特点。食管腹部与贲门可通过超声检查进行显像和测量，这对诊断胃食管疾病具有重要价值。[1]
在猫中，已有观察表明食管腹部极短，近乎虚拟存在，部分学者认为猫不存在独立的食管腹部，整段食管均位于胸腔内，胃食管连接部位于膈的水平。[2]
