Cuneocuboid joint

The cuneocuboid joint is the articulation between the lateral cuneiform and the cuboid bones in the midfoot. This joint is part of the tarsal region and is located laterally, forming a connection between the lateral column of the foot and the midfoot. It is a synovial joint, typically allowing only minimal gliding motion, and is stabilized by surrounding ligaments:

• Cuneocuboid interosseous ligament

• Dorsal cuneocuboid ligament

• Plantar cuneocuboid ligament
