Definition

Antoine Micheau

The hepatoduodenal ligament is the part of the lesser omentum that connects the liver to the duodenum. It contains the portal triad (the common bile duct, the hepatic artery, and the portal vein) and additionally, it houses lymphatic vessels and nodes, as well as connective and fatty tissue.
