Definition
The Rima Glottidis is the elongated fissure or chink between the vocal folds in front, and the bases and vocal processes of the arytenoid cartilages behind. Posteriorly it is limited by the mucous membrane passing between the arytenoid cartilages (Interarytenoid fold).
