The membranous layer of perineal subcutaneous tissue (fascia of Colles) is a membranous layer of the superficial fascia of the perineum. It is continuous with the membranous layer of abdominal subcutaneous tissue (Scarpa's fascia) of the anterior abdominal wall and extends into the perineum, attaching to the ischiopubic rami and the posterior margin of the urogenital diaphragm.
