The vertebral ganglion (Intermediate cervical ganglion; Ganglion vertebrale) is a small, inconstant ganglion of the cervical sympathetic trunk located on the medial side of the vertebral artery, typically at the level of the C6–C7 vertebrae. It is one of the accessory ganglia found between the middle cervical ganglion and the inferior cervical (or cervicothoracic/stellate) ganglion along the sympathetic chain.
