Foramen of medial palmar process

Foramen processus palmaris medialis

Definition

The medial palmar process is the palmar extension of the parietal surface and palmar aspect of the distal phalanx.  It is divided by the notch of medial palmar process (or a foramen called the foramen of medial palmar process) into a proximal and a distal angle.
