The pelvic limb is composed, in order from proximal to distal, of the bones of the pelvis (ilium, pubis, and ischium), the femur, the patella, the tibia and fibula, the tarsal bones, the metatarsal bones, and the proximal, middle, and distal phalanges of each digit.
