Definition
The skeleton of the pes (skeleton of the hindfoot; pelvic autopodium) is composed by 3 segments of bones, from proximal to distal:
- Tarsal bones (basipodium)
- Metatarsal bones (metapodium)
- Phalanges (acropodium)
