The right lymphatic duct is located in the right caudal part of the neck. It receives efferent lymphatic vessels from the right superficial cervical, axillary, and thoracic lymph nodes. The right tracheal trunk drains into the right lymphatic duct. In approximately 50% of dogs, the right lymphatic duct drains into the thoracic duct.
