最上鼻甲

骨性最高鼻甲，又称最高鼻甲或最高鼻甲，是鼻腔内鼻甲结构中位置最高的部分，但其存在并非普遍。该解剖结构的出现率差异显著，据报道其出现概率约为8%至80%。它可单侧出现，即位于鼻道一侧，也可双侧出现，即位于鼻道两侧。
骨性最高鼻甲起源于筛骨迷路的内侧面，与上鼻甲及中鼻甲类似，是鼻甲中最小的一个，形似细小的嵴状突起。它位于上鼻甲的上方，紧靠鼻腔外侧壁的后上部。骨性最高鼻甲居于顶部的位置提示其可能参与嗅觉功能，与上鼻甲共同发挥作用，潜在地增强嗅觉，两者均覆盖有嗅觉神经上皮。
