额骨
Os frontale
定义
额骨（Os frontale）是一块对称的、扁平的不规则骨，构成额区的基础。
与人类不同——人类的两块额骨很早便融合为一块对称的额骨——在大多数家养哺乳动物中，两块额骨长期保持独立。
额骨构成颅骨的背吻侧部分及毗邻的面部区域。额骨的鼻部（Pars nasalis）位于鼻骨的背尾侧，其眶部（Pars orbitalis）参与构成面部；而其鳞部则参与构成顶骨颅侧的颅顶。
