Divisio anterior trunci inferioris plexus brachialis
- Related terms: Anterior division
Definition
The inferior trunk of the brachial plexus divides into two main divisions: an anterior division and a posterior division. The anterior division of inferior trunk of brachial plexus continues alone in the axilla, forming the medial cord of the brachial plexus.
Importantly, no nerve branches arise directly from the divisions of the brachial plexus.
