Definition
Communicating branch of median nerve with ulnar nerve refers to a neuronal link that exists in the axillary region, connecting the lateral root of the median nerve (from the lateral cord) with the site of origin of the ulnar nerve. The communicating branch carries neuronal fibers from C7 root of the brachial plexus.
