Definition
The cuneometatarsal interosseous ligaments are three in number:
The first cuneometatarsal interosseous ligament (Interosseous Lisfranc ligament; Lisfranc ligament proper) is the strongest, and passes from the lateral surface of the medial cuneiform to the adjacent angle of the second metatarsal, iCn1-M2
The second cuneometatarsal interosseous ligament connects the lateral cuneiform with the adjacent angle of the second metatarsal, iCn3-M2
The third cuneometatarsal interosseous ligament connects the lateral angle of the lateral cuneiform with the adjacent side of the base of the third metatarsal, iCn3-M3
