Definition

The infraorbital margin refers to the lower edge of the square-shaped opening at the front of the eye socket or the orbital cavity. It is made up of the zygomatic process of the maxilla and the zygomatic bone.

An infraorbital foramen can be found inferior to the infraorbital margin, which is the opening through which the infraorbital vessels and nerve appear on the face.
