The lateral puboprostatic ligament is a paired fibromuscular condensation of the endopelvic fascia that extends from the posterior surface of the pubic bone, near the tendinous arch of the pelvic fascia, to the lateral aspect of the prostate and the prostatic urethra. It forms part of the anterior suspensory apparatus of the prostate and is situated lateral to the dorsal venous complex.
