Processus clinoideus medius
Definition
The sides of the tuberculum sellae create noticeable bony protrusions known as the middle clinoid processes. Both the tuberculum sellae and these processes provide support for the front edge of the diaphragma sellae, which covers the pituitary gland like a roof.
