The muscles of thorax are:

  • Sternalis muscle

  • Pectoralis major muscle

  • Pectoralis minor muscle

  • Subclavius muscle

  • Serratus anterior muscle

  • Levatores costarum

  • External intercostal muscles

  • Internal intercostal muscles

  • Innermost intercostal muscles

  • Subcostal muscles

  • Transversus thoracis muscle

Regarding different terminologies, the diaphragm may or may not be included in the muscles of thorax.
