Formatio reticularis pontis
Definition
The pontine reticular formation is positioned in the posterior part of pons, just in front of the fourth ventricle. It constitutes part of the extensive network of nerve cells and fibers in the brainstem. Find out more about the reticular formation here: reticular formation
