Definition
The posteromedial central arteries (or paramedian arteries, also referred to as paramedic pontine arteries) are branches of P1 segment of PCA passing through the posterior perforated substance to the mammillary body, thalamus, lateral wall of V3 and posterior part of internal capsule.
