The prevertebral nodes are lymph nodes located in the prevertebral space, anterior to the vertebral column and posterior to the pharynx and esophagus. These nodes are part of the deep cervical lymphatic system or of the parietal thoracic lymphatic system and are involved in the drainage of lymph from the pharynx, esophagus, and other structures in the neck and thorax.
