Definition
The superior border of the suprarenal (adrenal) gland is the margin that abuts the inferior surface of diaphragm near the diaphragmatic crus. This border represents the uppermost extent of the gland within the retroperitoneal space and is enclosed by the superior portion of Gerota's fascia.
