Brachium colliculi caudalis
Definition
The brachium of the caudal colliculus is a bundle of axons that transmits auditory afferents received by the caudal colliculus of the mesencephalic tectum to the thalamus and other relay centers, thus participating in the integration and coordination of auditory reflexes.
