Frontal nerve

Nervus frontalis

Definition

Felipe Barona Lopez

The frontal nerve is the largest of the terminal branches of the ophthalmic nerve. It enters the orbit and rises between the medial border of the Dorsal rectus muscle and the periorbita. It then crosses the periorbita and travels between it and the osseous wall. It then divides into two branches: the supratrochlear nerve and the supraorbital nerve.
