Supratrochlear nerve

Nervus supratrochlearis

Definition

Felipe Barona Lopez

The supratrochlear nerve is one of two branches of the frontal nerve. Thinner than the supraorbital nerve, it runs to the trochlea, passes dorsally to it and then exits the orbit, bypassing the medial end of the supraorbital margin. It innervates the upper eyelid, the root of the nose and part of the forehead.
