Labrum glenoidale

Definition

The glenoid labrum (glenoid lip) is a fibrocartilaginous rim enlarging and deepending the glenoid cavity.

In dogs, the glenoid labrum extends 1 or 2 mm beyond the edge of the cavity caudolaterally.
