The anterior horn of lateral meniscus is the cartilaginousanterior part of the lateral meniscus that attaches to the tibial plateau, at the anterolateral region of the intercondylar area. Its root attachment is located just lateral and slightly anterior to the tibial insertion of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), with a significant portion of its fibers inserting deeply beneath the ACL, resulting in a notable overlap between the two structures.
