The conchal crest of maxilla is a slanted bony ridge located in front of the lacrimal groove, on the maxilla’s nasal side. It articulates with the inferior nasal concha. The area just above this ridge, with its slight depression on the nasal surface of the maxilla, is part of the atrium of the nose's middle meatus, and the part below it plays a role in forming the inferior nasal meatus.
