Definition
The nonvisual retina is its portion non sensitive to the light, divided into two zones:
- The ciliary part of retina: located on the posterior face of the ciliary body (composed of a simple layer of pigmented cuboidal epithelium)
- The iridial part of retina: located on the posterior face of the iris (composed of a double layer of pigmented cuboidal epithelium)
