Definition
The maxillary process of inferior nasal concha stands out as one of the three unique processes along its superior border. Positioned between the lacrimal and ethmoidal processes, This particular intermediate process has a distinct morphology and functional significance. It is characterized by its thin form, arching inferolaterally (downward and outward) to connect to the medial surface of the maxilla, precisely at the opening of the maxillary sinus.
