Definition

The term ‘occipital border of parietal bone’ describes the back edge of this curved, rectangle-shaped bone. This border appears deeply denticulated. At the rear, the occipital border of parietal bone articulates with the occipital bone, contributing to one-half of the lambdoidal suture.
