Margo occipitalis
Definition
The occipital border is the shortest border of the parietal bone. It joins the occipital bone, and its medial part merges specifically with the interparietal bone.
The sphenooccipital crest or cerebro-cerebellar crest is formed by its endocranial underside; its length varies depending on the species.
