Definition
The middle trunk of the brachial plexus divides into an anterior and a posterior division. The posterior division of middle trunk of brachial plexus merges with the posterior divisions of the superior and inferior trunks to form the posterior cord of the brachial plexus.
Notably, no nerve branches arise directly from the divisions of the brachial plexus.
