Caudal ligament of fibular head
Ligamentum capitis fibulae caudale
Definition
The fibrous layer of the proximal tibiofibular joint is not well developed, although a recognizable ligament of short fibers goes form the head of the fibula proximocranially deep to the lateral collateral ligament to the adjacent lateral condyle of the tibia as the cranial ligament of the head of the fibula.
