Communicating branch with ciliary ganglion
Ramus communicans cum ganglio ciliari
Definition
The communicating branch with the ciliary ganglion separates from the nasociliary nerve shortly after it enters the orbite. Afferent fibers from the eye pass through this branch to join the trigeminal nerve.
