Malleolus medialis
Definition
The medial malleolus (Malleolus medialis) is more voluminous than the lateral one. It is traveled by the malleolar groove (Sulcus malleolaris): a longitudinal and slightly oblique -in caudal direction- groove for a tendon. It is rough in the rest of its area.
