Apertura nasomaxillaris
Definition
The nasomaxillary opening is the opening from the maxillary sinus or maxillary recess (in Carnivores) to the middle nasal meatus. In Horses, the rostral maxilllary sinus and the caudal maxilllary sinus have a commmon nasomaxillary opening.
