Sinus maxillaris rostralis
Definition
The rostral maxillary sinus is a paranasal sinus described only in horses. It refers to the rostral part of the maxillary sinus: it is separated from the caudal portion of the maxillary sinus (caudal maxillary sinus) by the septum of the maxillary sinus.
