Articulatio talocalcaneocentralis
Definition
In carnivores, the talocalcaneocentral joint (sometimes called talocalcaneonavicular joint), is the intertarsal joint between the talus and the calcaneus proximally, and the central tarsal distally on the medial side.
In pigs and ruminants, it includes also the tarsal IV.
